The large water bucket blow molding machine is a professional equipment for producing large-capacity plastic water buckets (usually with a capacity of more than 50L, common specifications include 100L, 200L, 500L, etc.). Its working principle is based on hollow blow molding technology, with targeted designs combined with the characteristics of large-sized products. The production process mainly includes: in the raw material preparation stage, raw materials with strong weather resistance such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) are selected, mixed, dried, and then put into the extruder; in the melting stage, the raw materials are heated to 180-230℃ in the extruder, and plasticized by screw shear to form a uniform melt; in the parison extrusion stage, the melt is pushed to the large die head and extruded into a thick-walled tubular parison. At this time, the axial and radial wall thickness control systems of the equipment work together to ensure a reasonable thickness distribution of the parison in different parts such as the bucket bottom, bucket wall, and bucket mouth. For example, the bucket bottom, as a load-bearing part, is usually 20% thicker than the bucket wall; after the mold is closed, high-pressure air (with a pressure of generally 0.5-1.5MPa) is injected through multiple groups of blow pins at the same time, making the parison expand and closely fit the inner wall of the mold. The texture of the mold cavity will form anti-slip lines or reinforcing ribs on the bucket body; subsequently, the cooling water circuit in the mold quickly takes away heat to shape the water bucket, and finally, the finished product is taken out by a mechanical arm to complete subsequent processes such as trimming and polishing.
The technical advantage of the large water bucket blow molding machine lies in balancing "large-scale" and "stability". Due to the large volume of products, the clamping force of the equipment is usually more than 5000kN, and the mold volume is correspondingly increased, adopting a split design for easy installation and maintenance; to avoid uneven wall thickness caused by the parison sagging due to its own weight during extrusion, the equipment is equipped with a parison traction device, which controls the traction speed to match the extrusion speed through a servo motor; in terms of the cooling system, a multi-loop circulating water design is adopted, with independent cooling water circuits set for different parts of the bucket (such as the bucket mouth thread and bucket bottom corner) to ensure consistent cooling rates in all areas and reduce deformation caused by internal stress.
With the diversification of market demand, large water bucket blow molding machines are developing towards multi-functionality. For example, some equipment can produce water buckets with liquid level scales. By prefabricating scale lines in the mold, the formed water buckets have a metering function; for drinking water buckets, the equipment adopts a special extrusion system for food-grade raw materials to avoid impurity contamination; at the same time, intelligent upgrading allows the equipment to realize remote monitoring through the Internet of Things platform, upload production data in real-time, facilitating factories in production scheduling and quality traceability. In addition, the application of energy-saving technology has also become a trend. New equipment uses waste heat recovery devices to use the waste heat of the extruder for raw material preheating, reducing energy consumption per unit product.
